Emma Stone stars in the upcoming film "Crazy, Stupid, Love," and joked about the grueling task of having to play Gosling's love interest in the comedy.
"It was the worst," Stone joked of her co-star in an interview provided by Warner Brother Pictures. "He can't act and he doesn't have that face, which is a real bummer, and we didn't have any fun at all. There was a lot of crying and a lot of physical violence toward each other. Needless to say, I struggled through the whole process, but I came out stronger for it and now here I sit, with a restraining order against him in the other room."
The 22-year-old actress was the envy of many when she got a front-row seat to co-star Ryan Gosling's abs in the comedy.
"That line was in the script, 'you look like you're Photoshopped,' so that has to be some pressure as an actor to have your character described as looking 'Photoshopped,'" Stone said. "And he definitely was a professional."
In the movie, Steve Carell stars as a man struggling to regain his confidence after his wife (Julianne Moore) asks for a divorce. A ladies man (Ryan Gosling) steps in to help and accidentally falls for a witty red head (Emma Stone).
